Hi there! I am Gina DiPaolo and my journey into serving the college-bound student began as a volunteer in my local high school’s college and career center. Reading essays, helping with the Common Application, looking for scholarships and just supporting students as they imagined themselves at the next level was all really….fun!
Working with my own children on their path to college and also the children of friends and family allowed me to deepen my knowledge and my desire to become a professional in the field. Since then, I have worked for a Florida-based college counseling firm and a nationally known essay coaching firm. It’s my entrepreneurial spirit and diverse experience that led me to open Legacy College Consulting, where I can creatively work to meet each student where they are and encourage their unique path.

In order to provide the highest level of service to my clients, I completed the College Counseling graduate certificate program at UCLA. The program, taught by leading professionals, is designed to bring credentialing and formality to the college admissions industry. It also brings a well-rounded, all encompassing knowledge to the process, allowing me to use best-in-class solutions to optimize my student’s opportunities.
I also hold a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a specialization in Finance from the University of Florida and spent 10 years as a financial and market analyst in NYC, Miami, and Southern California.
Passionate about education, I stay current in the ever-evolving landscape of the college admissions industry by attending annual conferences, participating in regional collaborative groups, visiting college campuses, engaging in continuing education and reading constantly. I aim to be an experienced resource for my clients as well as my community.
I am a proud member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA) and the Southern Association for College Admission Counseling (SACAC), organizations that promote professionalism, integrity, continuing education and collaboration across all aspects of the industry.
I am governed by the IECA Principles of Good Practice and am dedicated to leveraging my experience, passion and network to guide students and families toward achieving their aspirations.
